GEMEX single phase starter is branded as GEMEX MINI which meets the need for high reliability starters both in industrial and domestic applications.

They are designed for Direct-on-line switching of AC motors up to 2 HP (1.5 kw) at 240 V, Single phase supply and offer protection against overload and low voltage.

The wide band fully SMC moulded coil has a voltage range of 115 V to 240 V.

Contactor:

The Electromagnetic contactor used is rugged with proven performance. The contact tips are made of silver oxide brazed on copper sheets.

Overload Relay:

           Our specially designed overload relay protects the motor under all abnormal conditions. The thermal relay is calibrated accurately and is adjustable from 60% to 100 % of the maximum setting. The relay resets automatically after a preset timing.

Push Button:

Sturdy and robust push button with double spring action is provided for smooth positive action. The “OFF” button can be locked to prevent accidental starting. The slider in the button housing is to be moved for locking the push button.

Application:

This starter finds wide application in switching and overload protection of single phase AC motor used in exhaust fans which find application in factories and theatres. Single phase motors also used in pumps, domestic appliances, single phase compressors and such other devices.
