At GEM, facilities represent the backbone of the company. Spread over an expansive area, it is proposed to expand the factory still further. The design department employs all the latest software packages like ProE, AutoCAD, etc. GEM is equipped to test switchgear and controlgear as per IS standards.

To ascertain optimal efficiency, raw material procurement and finished product despatches are fully integrated. With state-of-the-art infrastructure, the company is capable of producing upto 150000 switches, 30000 motor starters and 100000 electrical accessories annually.

The tool room is very well equipped to develop tools for new products. It also operates as an independent profit centre with expertise to execute projects from other organizations.
