Three phase air break starter is named “GEMEX NHG” for direct online and “GEMEX SD” for Star/Delta meets the need for high reliability protection for motors in Industrial application.

Contactor:

The Electro magnetic contactor is rugged in design with proven performance. High grade phenolic moulding reduces tracking and prolongs operational life. The contact tips are designed with silver cadmium material to offer high resistance to welding and corrosion. The coil is totally encapsulated with SMC to resist against moisture, corrosive atmosphere and damage while handling. It has high thermal capacity ensuring longer life under adverse conditions. Keeping in mind the erratic power supply the coil is designed to operate under a wide band - 150 V to 415 V AC.

Overload Relay:

The overload relay protects the motor under all abnormal conditions like overload, short circuit and single phasing. Our thermal type overload relay has a range of current setting between 60% to 100% of the maximum rating. This relay has a buit in single phasing protection through its sensitive unique differential mechanism. The relay operates very quickly when a single phasing occurs, regardless of the current adjustable level setting. The relay design incorporates temperature compensation between -10 ̊ C to +55 ̊ C. The relay is provided with auto/manual facility which can be set at the field depending on application.

Push Button

Elegant and sturdy push button is provided with two spring actions to give a smooth and positive operation. The "OFF" button can be locked with a slider to prevent accidental starting.

Application:

These starters find wide application in switching and overload protection of all three phase motors. ”GEMEX SD” starter is available for automatic star-delta operation with electronic timer, 0-12 sec and semi-automatic without timer. Both the models are available with electronic single phasing preventor and auto start devices.
