Cables conform to IS: 694, IEC 332-1&2,1EEE 383 IEC 754-1&2,BS 4066-1.

Cables are made of conductor & insulation.

Conductor:     

Many thin strands of Electrolytic copper are fine-drawn simultaneously for uniformity of characteristics such as resistance dimension, flexibility etc. The drawn strands are collected and closely twisted in high precision machine and further compacted. This not only imparts circularity to the bunched conductor but also prevents the tendency of the strands to separate and exert internal pressure on the insulation when the cable is bent during installation and usage.

Insulation:

Specially formulated grade of PVC compound is capable of withstanding higher temperature. The higher rating enables the cable to withstand overloads without compromising safety. The insulation is resistant to boiling water steam and vapours to prevent ageing and cracking in practical usage.

We have two different brands of cables, "GEMFLEX" & "ECO TEK"

Packing:

90 mts coils packed in protective cartons.

  • Intelligent microprocessor controlled equipments ensure that the conductor lies perfectly in the centre of the insulation thereby providing exact and equal protection from all side of the conductor preventing short circuit occurrence due to uneven thickness and eccentricity of PVC insulation.
  • Advanced in-house facilities of drawing, stranding and bunching of the conductors make easy stripping and crimping possible in GEMFLEX cables.
  • GEMFLEX cables are manufactured from pure electrolytic copper and PVC compound with rigorous testing at every stage of manufacturing.

"ECO TEK" Cables (Halogen free flame retardant cable(HFFR))

Halogen free flame retardant cable is supplied under the brand name of Eco Tek cables.

Why Halogen free flame retardant cable?

With increasing demand for “safe” and “green” buildings, more attention is being paid to the types of cables being installed and the potential risks in the event of fire. It is now recognized that smoke and poisonous fumes are often a far greater risk to life and property than the fire itself. HFFR materials are eco-friendly and impart high safety in areas of limited exits.

HFFR cables are also popularly known as Zero Halogen flame retardant (ZHFR) cables.
